About Me

A "silent conductor" who helps leaders turn strategy into action
and make important things happen.

In Latin, Candidus means shine, brightness, fairness, and clarity — qualities that reflect how I work. I help leaders cut through complexity, create focus, and turn strategy into practical, actionable progress. I’m known for working in a calm, thoughtful way — bringing structure and momentum while strengthening teams and building confidence along the way.

Based in London since 1999, I’ve led and supported multinational teams across consulting and client organisations in Europe, Asia, and beyond. I’m comfortable working with very different leadership styles and organisational cultures, and I thrive in diverse, multi-cultural environments. My career has included senior roles in the Hong Kong Government, L.E.K. Consulting (London and China), and on the Executive Management Board of TT Electronics plc. Over more than 15 years, I’ve delivered 120+ consulting assignments, approaching each engagement with curiosity, honesty, and a strong bias towards what will genuinely work in practice.

I’ve worked with organisations ranging from small and medium-sized businesses to large, global groups across manufacturing and electronics manufacturing, healthcare, FMCG, hospitality, transport, financial services, and NGOs. Moving between sectors and scales has sharpened my ability to listen carefully, adapt quickly, and focus on what truly matters — whether the context is highly regulated, operationally complex, or purpose-driven. I pay close attention to detail where it matters, while keeping sight of the bigger picture.

I work in a hands-on and resourceful way and, where it adds value, I also create and produce content myself — from short films and visual storytelling to newsletters, animations, and interactive tools. This allows ideas to move faster, creativity to support engagement, and teams to stay connected without unnecessary complexity.

Outside my consulting work, I’m a trustee of RSPCA East London & Havering Branch and have supported charities and NGOs as a volunteer and advisor since 2008, working on governance, strategy, operations, and communications. I also founded Melted Inside, an online marketplace for artisan food and drinks. While still a small business, it has been a rich learning experience in entrepreneurship, creativity, and building something with purpose from the ground up.

Outside of work, I’m married to a British sustainable heating engineer — my personal consultant on all things “technical.” My mornings usually start under the watchful eyes of our canine bosses, Charlie and Margaux: a senior chocolate lab and a teenage Alsatian-Lab, both rehomed. They make sure the day begins with a little exercise, mud, and cuddles before the emails arrive — a gentle reminder that even the best plans need a human (and canine) touch. I hold a Business Administration degree from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and an MBA from INSEAD.
